Paradise Found

And so... it's back to 7am Sunday football games. LOL The "night" game for us is at 2pm. Are any of you doing the football pool thing this year?? www.footballbunker.com is the one I've been using for a year or two. You pick which team you think will win in each of the week's matchups... whoever chooses the most winners, wins!

I have been trying to skateboard recently. Last weekend, and then again yesterday. That's not going so well. Yesterday I tried to do a moving kick turn... and I didn't make it. And I crashed. Hard. I am SO glad a video camera wasn't recording at the time. I've been filming the kids as THEY learn. Just glad no one thought to tape ME. LOL I landed elbow first, followed really quickly by my right hip and then the rest of me. OUCH I have a nice mottled bruise on the hip and a big burn scrape on the elbow.

Go BEARS! So far, so good today. hehe

I went back out to the "LOST" beach on Friday to see what I could see, because I know they are taping again for the new season. Nothing new to see, really, but there was a guard out there and you couldn't get anywhere near the set, nor take any pictures at all. So I took a few of the beach and water just because I can never resist.

The Boy is having a fantastic time with Cub Scouts again this year. He's off selling popcorn at a booth sale right now, trying to be den high-seller.

The Girl has her first boyfriend. He is an 8th grader too, and a really skinny little skater dude. LOL His arms are skinnier than hers are. And that's skinny.
